Terms of service
1. Cancellations & No-Shows
Your appointment reserves time, product, and preparation from our team.
A valid credit card is required to secure all appointments.
Cancellations made within 48 hours will be charged 50% of the scheduled service total.
No-shows will be charged in full (100%).
For specialty services—including keratin treatments, extensions, smoothing, or multi-hour color—72 hours’ notice is required to avoid a 50% charge.
You agree that these charges may be placed without further authorization if the appointment is missed or canceled within the stated window.
These policies protect the time and livelihood of our stylists and ensure we can accommodate other guests who are waiting to book.
2. Service Adjustments
We stand by the quality of our work. If something feels off after your visit, please let us know.
Adjustment requests must be reported within 7 days of your original service.
Adjustments are reviewed and scheduled at the discretion of salon management.
No monetary refunds will be issued for completed services.
This allows us to address concerns with care and integrity while honoring the time and product invested by your stylist.
3. Switching Stylists
You’re always welcome to see a different stylist within our team at any time.
We support your hair journey and believe that trust and comfort should guide your choices.
There’s no pressure, no awkwardness—we’re here to make sure you feel amazing.
4. Photography & Video Use
From time to time, we document our work for creative, educational, or promotional use. This may include photo or video taken during or after your service, or candidly in the background.
By receiving services at Danielle Marie Hair Co., you grant us the right to use your image or likeness for marketing, education, or promotional materials including social media, website galleries, and print.
If you’d prefer not to appear in any content, simply notify your stylist or the front desk—we will absolutely respect your wishes.
We’re proud to share our artistry but we’ll always prioritize your comfort first.
5. Promotions, Discounts & Giveaways
We love celebrating our community with exclusive offers, seasonal promotions, and salon giveaways.
All offers are subject to availability, expiration dates, and stylist participation.
Promotions may not be combined unless explicitly stated.
Giveaway recipients may be required to sign consent for promotional use of images or videos.
We reserve the right to change or cancel promotions at any time.
Offers have no cash value and are non-transferable.
These events are one of the ways we thank you for being part of our story.
6. Salon Visit Guidelines
To maintain a peaceful and professional environment for every guest:
Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Only guests with scheduled appointments are permitted in the service areas.
Please silence mobile devices and respect the calm energy of the salon.
We reserve the right to discontinue service if conduct compromises the safety or well-being of staff or other clients.
We believe in creating an atmosphere of trust, respect, and ease—for everyone who walks through our doors.
7. Clothing & Personal Belongings
Salon services can be messy. While we take precautions to protect you and your belongings, some risk is unavoidable.
Danielle Marie Hair Co. is not liable for damage to clothing, shoes, or accessories that occurs during services. This includes stains, water, bleach, color, or heat exposure.
We recommend wearing clothing that’s service-friendly and avoiding valuable items during your visit.
Please keep all personal belongings with you during your service. We do not offer coat check or secure storage.
8. Limitation of Liability
We are committed to providing exceptional service—but due to the nature of salon treatments, outcomes may vary.
By booking an appointment with Danielle Marie Hair Co., you agree to the following:
Our team will perform services to the best of their ability based on consultation and your hair’s condition.
Danielle Marie Hair Co. and its affiliates are not responsible for undesired outcomes due to prior chemical history, hair condition, or unrealistic expectations.
We are not liable for allergic reactions or sensitivities to products used during services. If you have known allergies or concerns, please notify us in advance.
You agree to release Danielle Marie Hair Co., its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or legal disputes beyond the value of the original service provided.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. If any part of these terms is deemed unenforceable, the remaining sections will remain in effect.
