Booking & Preparation
Do I need a consultation before booking?
Yes, we ask all new guests to begin by filling out our new guest consultation form. This allows us to understand your hair history, current canvas, and long-term goals so we can reserve the exact amount of time needed for your first appointment.
What if I’m not sure which service to choose?
That is completely normal! Hair service terminology can be confusing. Simply fill out our consultation form with as much detail as possible, and we will guide you toward the right service—whether that is dimensional color, soft blonding, or a subtle refresh.
What should I do before my appointment?
For most appointments, arriving with dry hair in its natural state is most helpful unless we have given you different instructions in advance. Having a few inspiration photos ready on your phone is also incredibly helpful for our initial conversation.

How long do blonding or dimensional color appointments usually take?
Custom, high-end color work takes time. A standard dimensional color or lightening appointment typically ranges from 3 to 4 hours. We never rush the process because protecting your hair’s integrity and applying color well both matter.
How often should I maintain my hair color?
This depends entirely on the look we create together. High-contrast blonding may require a refresh every 8-10 weeks, while our lived-in techniques and gray blending are designed to grow out seamlessly, often extending your maintenance cycle to 3-6 months.
Do you offer gray blending or low-maintenance color options?
Yes. We regularly help guests move toward softer, lower-maintenance color through gray blending, dimensional placement, and lived-in techniques that grow out more gracefully than traditional solid coverage.
What if I already have color on my hair?
Previously colored hair requires a careful, strategic approach, especially if we are attempting to go lighter. We will always be transparent about what is achievable in a single visit without compromising your hair's health.
What if I want a big transformation?
Big transformations are often a journey that takes multiple sessions to achieve safely. We will outline a realistic, step-by-step plan during your consultation to get you to your goal while protecting your hair's integrity.
Can I book a haircut without color?
Absolutely. We offer precision haircuts tailored to your face shape, natural texture, and daily routine. You do not need to book a chemical service to experience our customized approach to cutting and styling.
